Swarthmore Friends Nursery School January 2008 The entire staff of Swarthmore Friends Nursery School wishes you a very happy new year! We think 2008 will be a great year, and we already have exciting events scheduled for the next few months. Our annual Open House for prospective families will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2008, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Parents who are interested in our nursery school for the 2008-2009 year are welcome to visit during this time. If you have a child who will be 3 years or older by January 31, 2009, (or you know someone else who does), please join us to learn about the wonderful environment at Swarthmore Friends Nursery School. Registration for next school year will open to the public on February 6, 2007, (registration forms should be postmarked no earlier than this date unless you are an alumnus family or a Meeting member family). Forms can be picked up at the open house or in the nursery school office during school hours. Coming up in March, all of our classrooms will be participating in an all-school unit about Africa. We always enjoy these special opportunities for shared learning and collaboration between the all age groups as well as the special educators who enrich our curriculum. Look for future information about an Open House to see all of the wonderful projects the children will make during their journey across such a culturally rich continent.
