Jumble Sale: Swarthmore Meeting’s traditional fall fundraiser
Ready! Set! Jumble! Time to think about Jumble! Have you noticed that the days of summer are becoming cooler and daylight is shorter each day? Plan to jumble with us…… Since we always have lots of Jumble left at the end of the sale, this year we want to take a proactive role. The Committee is asking Friends for suggestions for interested charities who would be willing to come pick up things up at the end of the sale. We also want to be a bit more pragmatic about the things we accept….. Please label you appliances, stating that they are in working order and no textbooks. Since we have difficulty selling baby car seats, cribs and strollers, used computers and mugs, we are asking you find other ways to recycle those items. See the Fun!
